This BF is shaping up to be a big snoozefest. The good thing is now the only place I might have to worry about hitting is Frys. Everywhere else has got nothing worth getting out for.

This can't be their final BF deal - MC usually has much better prices than this.

These deals blow. MC's deals have been terrible lately. Especially considering half their deals that look good are after MIR! Or after MIR + Gift Card by mail! WTF

Is there a place online where the Fry's BF deals are posted?

I have not seen any posted yet...

There are rumors that they are not advertising any of their good TV deals. Went into my local store and asked why their ad was so weak. Was told that there are secret deals in the store for a number of different TVs. They said I'd have to come back in that day to see what they are. Asked if it was going to be better than BB's pricing, they just smiled. Man... what is up with that.... sounds like there will be deals. MC doesn't ever let up on TV deals.

DDR 1G for $9.99 is a great deal.

I've never seen Frys BF ads leaked in many years! Since they have less number of stores, they can keep the secret as secret. Frys ad is the only reason I get up early morning on thursday!

frys never leaks and you will probably see a 2-4 page ad thursday and the full 8-10 page ad on friday am. This is how it was done in past years.

I did see a color wifi laser printer for $99 in the MicroCenter Ad, that seems pretty good. But it's about $150 to replace all 4 toner cartridges, so for 1000 pages it's about 15 cents a print which seems a bit pricey.

Fry's never leaks because they don't print it in advance, they send it to the paper directly at the last minute and it gets printed with today's news.

It's good for them and keeping it secret, it's not so good for us who want to plan our shopping.

Snoozefest sums up this year for me. A few small UPS deals for my TiVos and DVRs, maybe the 5 HP BluRays at WalMart and that's about it.
Fry's is 90 minutes away, which includes passing 3 big malls and all that madness, so unless my Frys-day paper shows up nice and early with something spectacular, it's a few local office supply stores & WalMart for me.

I would have to disagree. I have been camping out of Fry's for the past 5 years. Two years ago, their ad leaked a few days before black friday. However, they had more deals on the day of Black Friday. Last year, everything leaked out prior to black friday, and the deals were very very disappointing, considered that I've been following Fry's BF for many years.

Don't know what they are doing this year but I don't expect Fry's deals to be any better than other places such as BB.

wednesdays paper always includes the thanksgiving paper, so you should have 24 hours to prepare for frys. I have to agree with howdumb7 though that last years fry's deals were pretty lame. i hope they step it up this year as I only live a few miles from frys (Ya I'm there weekly at least).

Yeah, you can do that because most Fry's are in warm climates. Try that up north. You're liable to get attacked by a polar bear.

Actually, I forgot to mention that all of the sorry deals for Fry's last year were available online. EVERYTHING. Maybe they'll do the same again this year, and save us from being attached from polar bears.

It would be so much better if it didn't involve a MIR.

Interesting that Micro Center was so busy. Ended up getting a 40" Samsung TV and a 40" Sony TV for my parents for $599.99 each with 1080p. The deals are still going on for the weekend I believe. Interesting they didn't advertise these deals in their ad. I bet they would have had even more people there.

Sony 32" 720P KDL32L5000 $379.99(Santa Clara Store Sold Out)
Sony 40" 1080P KDL40S504 $599.99
Sony 46" 1080P KDL46S504 $799.99
Samsung 40" 1080P LN40B500 $599.99

LG 42" 720P Plasma 42PQ10 $499.99
LG 50" 720P Plasma 50PQ10 $599.99

The prices weren't quite as good as some of the other retail stores but I didn't need to deal with crazy lines or crowds and the sales people knew what they were talking about.
