Found these today. Beats their sale prices. They are very fresh AA Alkalines and they are Walgreens brand. Found lots of them underneath the hanging batteries (guess not enought room to hang them up. No coupon, no expiration date for deal. Clamshell packages are marked "Wow". Good batteries for a good discount.
I used to use Walgreens house brand batteries but they were drained faster than standard Energizer and Duracell ones.

I haven't seen any good deals and I've been looking for a while. Target has 24 pack Rayovac for $8.99 which is okay but I'm finding crazy high prices everywhere. What stores, specifically, have 8-packs for $2.00? I still need 9V, C's and D's and I hate paying a lot.

I remember a Consumer Reports article that said that all alkaline batteries were roughly the same and that they were all made in just two factories, the Duracell factory and the Energizer factory! But all things change and maybe the "off brands" are worse now. So sad.
