There are so many deals and bundles my head is spinning. I haven't pulled the trigger on this yet. One can probably recover about $150 after selling the TiVo on eBay after all the fees are paid making the TV about $1100. CNET really likes this one.

Amazon Link

You can get a deal close to this one at electronics-expo.com after using a 5% off coupon. Their price for the TV is cheaper, but you pay for shipping and you don't get the free TiVo.

Give me some feedback please.

For TiVo, prepare to pay $400 for Lifetime Service or $10/month whichever you decide.

I have DirecTV and no intention of keeping the TiVo. It would go up on eBay.

Selling the TiVo for $150 is YMMV as current owners of series 2 Tivos can get this same model for $149 directly from TiVo as an 'upgrade'. (so plan on getting closer to $100 for the TiVo)

OTOH, if this TV works for you @ $1100, then $1150 isn't the end of the world.

It appears to well exceed that: eBay

You just have to take fees into account.

EE is $1079.88 after coupon "PROCODES". I would definitely take that over ~$1100 maybe after ebaying the TiVo.

Great TV though. I have the 54" and am very happy.

If anyone is interested it looks like US Appliance has a couple of open box P50G15 (same as G10 but thinner) for $1095 - $10 ("WELCOME10") - 5% BCB = $1030.75.

If you haven't seen it yet, there is a thread going in Deal Discussions tracking Panasonic plasma deals: Link

Plus $108 for shipping.

i paid $1350 6 months ago for this tv with a Panny dp60 blueray player $1350 for both the tv is great beats lots of lcds in reviews

I bought this TV a month ago from BB, great picture quality. The reviews are dead on at Cnet, bought it over the equivalent Samsung.

I bought this TV from Best Buy back in July. I finally decided to go with a plasma instead of LCD at this point in time. To me, the plasma was much more natural looking when I was watching fast motion scenes on Blu-Ray movies in the store. That's just my opinion. I have no regrets yet.
