Recent Review from HD...tempting but towel and I don't get along.
Overall Rating: 1 out of 5 Maytag MDBH989AWB, November 16, 2009 By Maytagbuyer from Westmont, IL
"I recently purchased a new Maytag Dishwasher Model MDBH989AWB and was installed and tested. The problem is this dishwasher doesn't "dry" correctly no matter how long the cycle takes. It leaves the dishes with water and they have to be hand dryed. We are having it removed and buying one that drys."

But under the black listing the only reviewer gives an opposite review and recommends the dishwasher.

I've had a Maytag dishwasher for only 3 years and in that time frame the motor had to be replaced twice, ..I'll never buy another Maytag

3 control panel replacements in about 2 years. Wonderful piece of crap. Got the first one from partselect.com and the next two were warranty returns on that one. Not the same model but similar. They seriously undersized a flexible plastic ribbon cable.
