Almost let this one slip by until I read the last page of a recent coupon book. I just bought a new policy through Costco even before knowing about this just because the premiums/benefits were very competitive by itself. With an Exec card you get a $100 cash card if you get a new policy with Costco/Ameriprise and $50 for gold level (so in otherwords Executive membership = free for the year in addition to 2% and other benefits). Just called the Ameriprise customer service and mention "8C5" or the deal in general. Good until Nov 29th. Sorry for the late notice, with Thanksgiving and all it doesn't give you a whole lot of time to possibly get/upgrade to Exec and shop a new auto-insurance policy...but for those that need it, here you go.

FYI this is a California residents thing on my coupon book, not sure if it applies everywhere (auto insurance tends to be state specific so YMMV).
As for auto-insurance savings, I went from a Mercury policy and with similar benefits for one car, and lowering/streamlining benefits for an older car, I will save $500 a year (and if I just kept it equivalent to my last policy I still would have saved approx $300+), so I guess the cash card is just icing on the cake.
Also you get free 24 hr roadside assistance if you have towing coverage which is cheap...or you get it anyways regardless if you have Exec. Time will tell if the 24 hr roadside assistance is as responsive as AAA (which has always been top-notch for me), but regardless potential savings there as well.
FYI - most 24 X 7 Roadside assistance programs - by insurance companies or car manufacturers are outsourced ... they don't have a network of tow trucks standing by across the country for their customers to call. It is all part of the same couple of networks. The tow truck drivers subscribe to it (much like independently owned cabs affiliating with a cab company).
