Don't know why you'd opt for the $15 rebate card when you can get the $30 rebate and get it for $15 before tax.. Oh yeah if you snooze and miss the narrow rebate period! Haven't seen a deal like this on a 400w since the OCZ silent model a while back.

$15 rebate card link - in case it's stackable

Wait a minute.. Nothing explicit about not being combined with other offers, and one of them does not ask for the UPC at least not on the PDF (but I guess the online reg form is the one you sign) ... Could this be stackable/FAR??

Good catch but I think this was a mistake posting by Newegg since when you try to fill in the rebate form it only gives "Channelwide" was the seller option..

I've seen forum posts (both here and elsewhere) where people have said the Channelwide rebates are fine and it goes through.. I'm not sure if that was for Newegg or zipzoomfly though, but still it doesn't say ZZF there either..

Just found an old rebate form where the address was to Channelwide, but it lists a whole bunch of resellers - so apparently it is the name of the rebate processing place.

Just to make sure I've emailed Newegg, will update when I receive a response.. All the same I'd rather wait until they shipped it so it's finalized to check the $15 online one, even though they've charged me already..

Ya..I have thinking about that after I posted my comment too. I have done quite a few rebates over the years but will wait to bite on this one until one of the rebate "elders" chimes in..

and just an FYI...the $15 rebate has been pulled from Newegg's site..

Just so you guys know, the last Enermax rebate I did was in September. It took only a month and a half from when I mailed out my rebate to receive it, and that was a $60 rebate, purchased from ZZF.

Actually, in both the pdf files that are linked, both explicitly ask for the UPC code cut from the box.

In the Channelwide one, it's in the box to the right of the list of power supplies.......#5.

Channelwider pdf form. said: 5.Original UPC code and serial number cut from the packaging.

In the Newegg pdf, it's #4 under how to claim the rebate.

Ahh it is too good to be true after all.. Funny I couldn't see that last night, I just really didn't want to I guess!

I wonder if you guys have had this: I did remember I had a $4 credit offered to me by a rep since there was an item that was still listed at sale price on the daily deals page but once you clicked on it it was not the sale price - I was told to reply to the email to get the credit so I'm looking for it, actually I've had plenty of purchases since then anyway..

I though Enermax was considered one of the cream of crop power supply makers, but the Newegg list price on this thing is only $60, suggesting that this is from a "budget" type of category? Or was I wrong about Enermax being top-tier? I had them categorized with Seasonic and Antec EarthWatts (often made by Seasonic?) as the key power supply names to target when looking for deals.

Newegg now shows the $30 rebate here.

$60 for a 405W power supply. Think about it... that's actually not cheap. Enermax for the most part makes great PSUs, but it's not always about the brand. The model plays a big role in identifying quality components.

Take a look at this list... may be a bit outdated, but I often refer to it:
Official XS Power Supply Ranking Phase I

"channel wide" means the whole retail sales channel, which means all authorized dealers.

it's not the name of any specific company

This is a very basic PSU. no PFC.
doesn't look very efficient either. So i dunno about the few bucks you save if this thing eats electricity.

warranty terms are pretty crappy--- if this PSU blows up, Enermax has a cross shipment policy if you want minimal downtime, but it costs an extra $25 nonrefundable shipping and handling cost. Fck that. for $25, i can get a new PSU.

Antec, on the other hand, has RMA cross shipping without any of these bogus extra fees. They refund everything + shipping to you when they receive your defective item.

yeah, but was your rebate sent to Enermax headquarters, like this $30 rebate is???
Promotion Code: ENE-0911B
17733 Rowland Street
City Of Industry, CA 91748

this rebate is processed by Enermax directly.
The other rebates are processed by a 3rd party rebate house in san diego.

I live 16 miles away from Enermax, so I'd knock down their door for my $30 rebate.
But I don't know about you guys...
