According to the discussion here. Dell will be having a 20% cb sale on black friday. There's a $31 instant savings right now. In the cart the details state "Expires Thursday, December 03, 2009". Thus:

$430.00 MSRP
-$31 instant discount
-$79.8 bing cb (%20)
319.2 total pretax

+$24.94 tax (for me)
$344.14 total

free 5-7day or 3-5 day delivery

Of course there are plenty other camera and (gasp!) computer deals, but this camera was released a month and a half ago and the price has stubbornly stuck at msrp.

On a sidenote, I actually ordered from Newegg for $401 shipped (getting delivered today) so I'm actually hoping the %20 CashBack rumor is false. Any suggestions on what I could do? (There's no way to return an item without the restocking fee?)

Heck of a deal for a great camera. I bought mine with the 10% off coupon at Best Buy but this is much better.

i thought it was a d90...

S90 is a great point&shoot camera which uses the same sensor as G11.

I don't know why it posted to SLR (and was tagged SLR) I didn't do it :-P

potentially good deal.

biggest thing is f2.0 lens, not sure if its thru zoom range, plus is, pretty cool

Any coupons to make it hotter?

There is a $20 Canon loyalty rebate for those who have purchased (and registered) certain Canon cameras in the past.

That's a great deal. The cheapest you can get this camera through even eBay + Bing CB is $376 shipped (from an authorized Canon dealer that is)

Dell dpa for an extra 3% discuont damn california sales tax

Nope, it isn't. It's only 2.0 on the wide (28mm) Good deal though. I got mine for $400 about a month ago when it first came out.

Maybe I'm missing something but I can't actually find Dell in the CB listing on bing

Just picked one up. Great deal OP!

Fighting the urge to pull the trigger...got too many cameras already.

Dell Bing CB is like a lottery. Mine has not shown up yet after a day. I might have to cancel the order.

I just checked with Dell tech support. They said, no, this camera is not eligible for 20% bing Cash Back.

What the hell? Can they even do that?

BCB doesn't work w/coupons!

Whoo Hoo! Just got my BCB notice for my Canon S90! (I had to email the Bing CB support)

Just got my Bing CashBack confirmation, finally.

Ordered on: 12/2/09 10:20AM PST
Bing Support Request Sent on: 12/4/09 3:11AM PST
Order Delivered on: 12/7/09 5:34PM PST
Bing Confirmation e-mail on: 12/7/09 11:05PM PST
Bing Support Reply Sent on: 12/8/09 9:52AM PST

I never did hear back from Bing CashBack support. I just got a normal, "You've earned CashBack from Bing" e-mail. 5 1/2 days is pretty long considering Overstock only took 3 and Adorama was less than 1 day.

edited for BCB Support response.
