This is the one on sale at Best Buy and Sears for $149 on Friday. I picked it up. I have a computer hooked up to my TV for if/when I wanna watch Netflix.
I just hooked mine up and while the overall build quality just isn't there, the picture looked good and even the upconversion was fine. I don't have time tonight to do a side-by-side comparison with the OPPO, but it's certainly very close and doesn't show artifacting or shimmering where I thought I'd see it. I went through two different DVD players a couple years ago before I settled on the OPPO; I'm very picky about these things and so far the Sony looks good.
