(FatWallet Deal Hunter staff posts are certified ad-free. No money, bribes, or candy have been accepted.)
Remember they give you a booklet with coupons when you buy a pc. You can use them on your purchase.
The ones I have used dozens of times is $70 off (on Premium) or $100 off (on Pro) of a Windows 7 upgrade DVD $60 off a wireless HP printer (add has at least 2 featured for Friday morning.. Nice one is HP Photosmart Premium (c309g) $99.98 minus the $60 $39.98 OTD
(one store let me use both HP coupons,(2 printers were bought) the other is $40 off on any over $69.00)
To get the book of coupons and use the HP printer ones, you do not have to buy an HP pc/laptop. Also 10% coupon good on Saturday. For highest priced item on receipt excluding pc.

If you're in Chicago, that sleeping bag is soaked and you're freezing tonight.

Thanks this make easier for me to decide what to get! Still have my eyes on the $189 Acer. Is the time measure in EST or PST or does it really matter when the first 6am strikes? Isn't Newegg located in PST zone?
I don't get it...there are no GREAT deals or cool gadgets this B Friday...so why risk your health for regular stuff...if you can spend 25~30 buks more you get those deals on daily basis??

I guess it matters a lot given that we are going through this super recession...

I understand your concern, but frankly I am looking for bargains, I don't care to spend more and don't find the item I want. Shopping online is fun and a challenge to find the best price. My wife shops off QVC, HSN and ShopNBC, but frankly those 3 TV shopping stations have huge mark-up on electronic gear. Example HP 10.1 Mini Netbook was selling last night for $429 plus tax, plus $13.47 shipping with 5 easy flex payments of $85 a month. That unit goes for online if on these crazy pre-BF days $199. See what would you spend? $429 or $199? you be the judge!

That's one less person that we have to compete with to get good deals. Maybe more are concerned with their health this year, so I can score big

lol, I'm not concerned with my health either but am not going to risk life and limb to get a netbook for 30 bucks cheaper. The deals are not that good for the third year in a row now, and I will be laughing when I score hotter or equally hot deals on Monday in the comfort of my leather chair.

Couldn't find the $50 MIR on the Staples dv6-1334. The closest is the dv6-1334us. Are they the same thing? Thanks

I have to agree, the deals on laptops are not what I had hoped. Most all with slower processors.

I like the 17.3" HP at Office Depot for $449 with a T6600 processor...I think it's a way better deal than those mentioned above...no one's mentioned this.

It is my guess that the BB $197 laptop does not appear in the print ad in any geographic location. What is the purpose of this omission?

it's the g71-343us. the Office Depot ad has its own thread somewhere here.
AugustFour said: AugustFour said: The price online is $649.99 not $499 AR. HP G71-343US Any chances for this (HP G71-343US) if I show up at 6:00 AM at OD?
that's because the sale hasn't started yet. doors open 6am friday morning. tickets available starting 5am. i just got an email from OD 450AR in store, 500AR online.

Does anyone know at what time these special deals will go live online (not in-store)? Is it 12:00 AM?
