Amazon is cheaper than Newegg a lot of the time nowadays, comparison shopping is a must!

Newegg has improved lately, depending on which warehouse you're talking about. The big problem was always with Newegg's multiple hard drive packaging. I'd order a single drive with confidence.

Just bought two of these from Newegg, no CashBack, free ship, CA tax. Total came out to be 108. Amazon has no tax and free ship. I cancelled the Newegg order and went with Amazon.
No more feeling bad about skipping CashBack to get a jump on the deal before item sells out.

I only said it because it was already mentioned on the first page

IMO Newegg's hard drive packinging methods are very haphazard at best. Do not even meet manufacturer RMA requirements (at least the dozen or so drives i've received over the years).
I love the Egg but try not to buy hard drives from them anymore, the occasional low prices are really tempting.
Take a look at here for a recent comparison of Amazon vs Newegg shipping.
My drives have arrived in similar condition from Newegg(IE one or more drives wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap that was popped along one side of each drive, sometimes placed on the bottom of the box and packing peanuts thrown on top, sometimes in the middle of the peanuts).
I just cancelled my Newegg order I placed today and will be trying Amazon this time around.

Thanks OP, just canceled my Newegg order and ordered this instead to save a few bucks and avoid the wait for bing cb.
I'm feeling generous today, so here's how you can save another couple bucks if you used Discover -- if your card balance is $1.99 or less when your statement is supposed to come out, they'll credit your account to make the balance $0.
If you don't understand this, don't worry about it. Did you know FW has a finance forum? That's where I normally hang out.
