Agreed that this is a better deal than Newegg. Can't beat lower by $5, no tax and the same free shipping as the egg!

Thanks a lot. Just cancelled Newegg order. CA tax kills it.

A bunch of $0.68 (eligible) fillers are on this page: http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_in_o_p_4_0?rh=n%3A172282%...

I canceled my order from Newegg and got it from Amazon as well.

If anyone else needs a SATA2 cable, I ordered this one:

Damn. I don't have a discover card. I'm thinking about buying 2 at Newegg. But right now I'm trying to figure out how to get the bing Cash Back to apply before i submit order.

Newegg is selling out. They basically spam you with e-mails now and their prices are nowhere near as competitive as they use to be. Don't even bother with their black friday page. Damn the man!

Amazon's supersafe oem packaging versus Newegg not so safe...

Look at how Amazon packed my HD earlier in the year. I bought 1 HD + 1 Windows Home Server disc.

The guy who packed this broke off the middle foam arrow to make it fit. This is the coolest shipping box ever

i think I missed something. That HD Ships from and sold by Computer Brain, but Cash Back says: "when you spend $50 or more on select items sold by Amazon.com" Although the page pulled up from he google search using "when you pay with your Discover Card", there is no mention on that page about it. Can someone please clarify?

Dead deal, for now. Amazon is sold out. Third party sellers don't qualify for that Discover Card promo. Look for something else to buy with the instant 10 off 50 promo.

Thanks for the fillers, good just to get free shipping for over $25 at other times.. If only it's something I can use too!

Thanks, Tilt.

I got 4 last night, getting ready to build a RAID5 array.

Thanks!

Did Amazon not complain about you getting the 4th one? I had to have a family member buy #4 for me.
... also, since you have 4 and are thinking about RAID5, take a look at this: http://www.miracleas.com/BAARF/RAID5_versus_RAID10.txt

Nope, when you pay with Discover they take $10 off that very order (needs to be above $50 though)

the drive is back in stock.

but I guess the discover deal is dead.

so it's about the same per GB as Newegg's deal on WD7501AALS with coupon EMCMMNV34 ($60)

EMCMMNV34 Newegg coupon doesn't seem to be working. Oh well.

It's probably dead now.
