It isn't as prestigious as the iPod Touch but it has some better features. FM radio with 32 presets - not found on iPod 3" screen - 2.8" on iPod Micro SD card slot for memory expansion - not on iPod External Speaker - not on iPod Napster to Go compatible - iPod is not compatible with Napster to Go.
Zen $80 - iPod Touch maybe as cheap as $165 but probably more.
The iPod Touch has lots of apps and games available and of course internet connection where wifi is available. 2nd and 3rd generation iPod Touch does have bluetooth which is a big plus for me.
I bought refurb 16gb 2nd gen iPod Touches for my kids, but I just ordered the Zens from Dell and will sell the iPods. They have 30gb Zunes from last year.
update: Best buy has a deal for today only. Free $50 gift card with the purchase of a 8gb iPod Touch. Price for the iPod is $199.99, but it doesn't appear that they have any in stock. When you click on the promo it gives directions to add the iPod and the gift card to the cart from below, but the only thing below is the gift card. If you search for the 8gb iPod it says coming soon.
