im a welding student and our teacher received a postcard in the mail last week from samsonsupply.com saying that their having a black friday week sale. it seems like they are revealing new items each day as a daily deal. but the big one is their black friday sale. the postcard says 30% off entire site. if you look on the website it isn't showing what the discount is but the postcard my teacher got says 30% off. i cant scan since i dont have a scanner.
if you are a welder or wear gloves these guys sell gloves made by caiman. caiman makes very good gloves. a buddy of mine who worked on the set of american chopper said the gloves that the bike builders use are made by caiman. my teacher says they make gloves for several of biggest welding equipment suppliers in the world.
we already use caiman gloves in class but we buy them from a local welding store. but their much cheaper on this site. when we looked at the site last week there was a page that said the black friday 30% off is on top of their regular discounted price. something like our price. let me see if i can find the page. here it is, page.

EDIT: there is nothing on the site that is lower than 30% off. most items are near 50% off. looks like an error on their part. grab'em while you can.
this sale is now online. i think they messed up, but there are tons of items nearly 50% percent off. it supposed to only 30% like the picture on the site shows. their computer guy obviously screwed up. i just picked up nearly $400 worth of gloves and coats for $212.68... plus i got free shipping. i also picked me up a combo pack of these normal everyday gloves. all i know is i got in before they figure out the discount is bigger than what they said. here's to hoping their off tomorrow.
now to head out for the night, going to spend the night in line with some buddies at best buy.
thought i'd head back to samsonsupply.com to grab a few more deals before their black friday promo ended. apparently the promo has been extended. it doesn't say when, but there is now a new image on the home page showing 'extended' on the black friday pic.
this is insane. i practically browsed each and every item today looking for that one item that might have been entered wrong. you know something like $0.00. didnt find any but i did notice that nearly everything on the site is between 40% to 50% off. i know i originally posted that they had welding gloves, but they also have gloves for everyday housework. called multi activity gloves. theres also work style gloves like for warehouse stuff. also saw some cool leather drivers gloves (that is what im going back to buy). my dad wears these for when he rides his motorcycle.
not sure how long this is extended for but i got some calls to make to friends. oh, and you get free shipping if you spend at least $150 (or else it's $8.95). i dont think they ship out of the states though. i tried to ship an order last night to my sister in canada and i got a message saying no ship method available or something like that.
oh, bestbuy sucked this morning. i walked away with nothing. they had stuff, just nothing caught my eye. oh well, i got free breakfast.
