I actually got the psp X2 - and decided to get this one just for background remover ! (stamp and tax are less than $5 !)

Good, but slow. My rebate on PSP9 took 2 months, PSP X1 took FOUR. My current one for X2 standard was only mailed off 3 weeks ago, so I'm not expecting it any time soon.

I've read in multiple places that every version since 9 is garbage, including everything since Corel took over from Jasc. Anyone care to confirm one way or the other?

Still, if anyone's interested, Corel has the non-Ultimate Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 on their web site for $30, regular $80. There's also 10% Cash Back and an additional 10% off with coupon code DEALTAKER12. The "ultimate" version doesn't add much of use anyway.
