Still a hefty price but havnen't seen it this cheap before. Amazon sells it for $365. This item also qualifies for $10 off $50 purchase promo when paying with discover card.
For those (like me) looking for a good price on the Touch, but whose head is starting to spin (also like me) with all the gift certificate incentives, Discover card incentives, etc. I decided to get it through W.almart.com ($275 for the 32g) and bing's 15% cash.back. Also saves me from the Black Friday parking, in store lines, etc. madness.
Even with sales tax, that's still pretty good. For me it comes to $256 or $252 (depending on how the sales tax is treated by bing). That's cheap enough for me. I've had very good luck with bing coming through with their cash.back, even though it sometimes takes a while.
Darn, that is some nice pricing for a nice device. Sure, it is carrying the Apple premium, but the iPod Touch is a great device. (better than the iPhone in my opinion).
Got a 32gb for regular price (300) last week and love it. 55 more for 64gb is hot.
cli168 said: how does bing work on the 15% for WalMart?Just go to bing.com and search for Ipod touch. Assuming you're already signed up and logged in, scroll down the page a bit and look for a 2-15% cash.back section. When I clicked on that I found several stores/merchants listed, one of which was W.almart with 15% cash.back listed. Click on that link and you should see 15% offered. From there, click through to W.almart and make sure you complete the transaction in the same session, and without too much delay.

How can the iPod touch be better than the iPhone when they are the exact same except iPhone has more features. iPhone is slightly thicker but it beats also having to carry a phone.
