k, I am giving up on trying to link this for you guys; can't figure out why; but the searching with the product # on TigerDirect.com works; product # M455-15603

Link doesnt work...Also is this laptop specifically excluded from BCB?

Edit: Looks like this will work with 12.2% BCB

no it's not cause I just got it; thanks for the red whoever!!

hmm, link not working for me either...

till I play with my links; you should be able to search with product # M455-15603 on TigerDirect.com; make sure you do it thru bing though to get the 12.2%CB!!

Really about the same as the Fry's Toshiba laptop yesterday for $349 and the Office Depot MSI a few weeks ago for $320. $370 with bing Cash Back maybe giving you trouble? Meh...i'd wait for the next <$350 deal for this without Cash Back or rebates.

3 yr warranty with the MSI!!

Yeah, thats a nice feature, but its ~$40-60 to get a squaretrade 3 year warranty on one of the similarly configured deals that have been around for $30-60 less.

Plus the OD deal *was* an MSI with the 3 year warranty, for $320. Only difference is 1.9GHz vs 1.8GHz.

I think over the next month you'll see two dozen $300-350 deals for T3000 based machines. Its a good budget dual core and the right price area, just below the pentium dual core. For this price I want the pentium dual core or maybe even a core 2 duo.

another laptop that is good for californians with ewaste disposal fee + tax. i payed $367 for the OD laptop after stupid taxes. and 100mhz slower

this one is easy to find. just go to bing.com and click the TigerDirect store front link on the right side.
everything is 12% cb.

back in stock msi-A5000

This is really a good deal! Please remember not all of us have a Fry's around! The OD MSI deal which seemed cheaper would be taxed for me and would've ended up the same price as this, and had a slower CPU. This is hotter, and is actually available. The CPU is the same Core 2 architecture as the Core 2 Duos and Pentium Dual Cores. The smaller cache makes it a little slower but you are still getting a ton of computing power with two Core 2 cores. If you want to encode video all day then get a Core 2 Duo. Three year warranty is super nice too.

Also TigerDirect CashBack through bing is 12.8%% but not if you use Firefox. (Start... Run... iexplore)

Going to Bing shopping, with IE or Firefox, gets me a page with a link that offers 8% CB for TigerDirect. Is the 12% over?

I'm still seeing 13.1% with CC (and they have the laptop too) and I'm using Firefox:
linky

Damn I shoulda used CC instead.
The CPU has 1MB cache! That is the same as the E21xx Pentium Dual Cores and twice as much as the older dual core celerons. At 1.9Ghz it will perform right between an E2160 and E2180.

Both the T3000 and T3100 have 1MB of cache -- the difference is only .1 Mhz.

I myself decided to stick with the MSI A6000-029US that I got from OD; after tax it's about $100 more (than this deal) but it has a slightly larger screen, more RAM, more drive space, and most importantly the faster T6600 processor so the increased cost is worth it.
