This appears to be an older bluetooth model with mixed reviews. I am in serious need of a bluetooth keyboard (prefer keyboard with scroll pad).
Does anyone here recommend this keyboard or would recommend some other?

I've owned this model for over a year and if I could do it again, I would NOT buy it.
Some major issues:
-bluetooth disconnects about once a week, running win xp pro sp3, no other software to conflict w/Logitech's drivers. it's a htpc, so all i have on there is itunes and zoomplayer.
-the surface of the mouse is this soft, felt like surface, feels comfy but now it's peeling off. best way i can describe it, is that it looks like my mouse suffered from sun burns and the surface is peeling off.
-the mx1000 laser mouse is a POS. it constantly mis-tracks, stutters across the screen, lags and generally does NOT work on my coffee table, leather couch, leather suede pillows, placemats i sometimes use on the coffee table, blanket, etc. we do have a blue "outdoor patio" type blue that it works okay on. for such an expensive "laser" mouse, this is unacceptable.
i would by it local, test it out for a week and if u like it, buy it.

I can verify that this particular model is rather problematic with connectivity issues, as my uncle had this model and I am the computer tech in the family.
I personally recommend this model though (diNovo Edge™ - I have 2 of them):
