Amazon UK listed £16.98 but when i check out, it dropped to £14.77 + £3.08 shipping. This set contains all 3 movies for ~$30.11 shipped to US. i set my Amazon uk to charge me in US $ without currency conversion fee w/my credit card. this way i know exactly how much i'm paying.

Some BD have region, fortunately most are region free.
The regional coding is one of the most annoying things invented. To prevent torrenting, studios should make the original version to be more appealing than the pirated version, not the other way around.
I've read conflicting information about Blue Ray and regions. Some say all Blue Ray discs will play on all machines, others that the discs are region coded. Is the Band of Brothers Blue Ray set in this deal region coded to Europe, or will it play on US machines?

The Godfather Trilogy (Coppola Restoration Edition) and Ultimate Bourne Collection is being sold for about the same price.
Is the UK "Ultimate Bourne Collection [Blu-ray]" exactly the same as the US "The Bourne Trilogy [Blu-ray]"?

I believe UK Bourne, Band of Brothers, Godfather and Matrix will all play fine on US players (I ordered all of these a week or so ago). The only time I got burned ordering from Amazon UK was with Shawshank Redemption. The movie itself plays just fine, but the extras are all in PAL and wouldn't play. Not a big deal since I already own the Shawshank SE dvd and all the extras on the Blu-ray are standard def ports from the dvd anyway.
A good resource to check before ordering blu-ray from UK is http://bluray.liesinc.net/index.php?region=b
Had I known about that site when I ordered Shawshank I would have seen the note they put on there that while the UK blu-ray is region free, the extras will not play on US players.

Linrick, How do you change the settings for currency for your Amazon.uk account? GREAT FIND! Thanks!!!
Edit: Found it, Your Account> Chance currency settings. DUH!!! Thanks again OP. Total shipped to bay area CA was $30.27!!!!!!!
While individual blu-rays don't seem to be massively cheaper, there are some deals in the box sets.
I already had BoB from the $39 deal a year ago, but Battlestar Galactica complete series is $150 versus $200 in the US, and the reviews of the UK version are that it's region free and is much more solidly packaged than the US one. (There's even a video review between the two here.)
There were some decent prices on other things, like a 6 disc Bond collection. It's worth browsing the site for comparison shopping.

If you want to know if a particular bluray is locked for the UK, etc. Just check this site.

1. M. Night Shyamalan - Collection [Blu-ray] [1999] £17.88 (The Sixth Sense, Signs and Unbreakable) 2. The Ultimate Bourne Collection [Blu-ray] [2002] £17.88 3. Band Of Brothers - HBO Complete Series [Blu-ray] [2001] £16.98 4. The Godfather Trilogy [Blu-ray] [1972] £17.98 5. The Matrix/Matrix Reloaded/Matrix Revolutions [Blu-ray] £16.48
Prices listed are actually slightly cheaper when the VAT is removed. These are the Amazon UK pre-cart (or "basket" for the UK) prices.
Thanks OP! Blu-rays under $10 each are much appreciated!

Got my order (placed on Dec 19th) yesterday finally. Oddly, it was shipped from Germany, by DHL/USPS.
The one surprise was to discover that UK blu-ray cases are as thick as old-school DVD cases. That is annoying. I will need to buy some empty blu-ray cases and repackage them.
In for band of brothers. Couldn't pass up that price.

Just received Band of Brothers today for $30.46 shipped using this deal. Thanks! Plays great on my US Panasonic BD-60.
I ordered this exactly 1 week ago and got it in the mail today. When I ordered the confirmation said I would get the disks in March/April, but they shipped the Blu-rays last Thursday.
Thanks. I have not seen the whole series only the first couple of episodes at my folks over Christmas. Looking forward to watching the rest.
One other Bluray that is now worth a look - Blade Runner: The Final Cut. About $10 there versus $30 here, and also nice if you don't want the whole 5 disc mega-collection.
