Bosch (15.54kB)
Disclaimer

Thought this deserved its own thread.

Bosch 4100 10-Inch Worksite Table Saw with Gravity-Rise Stand is on clearance at my Home Depot (Goleta (Santa Barbara)) for $299, and I know it's on clearance as well at The Home Depot in/near Bellflower, CA. They're normally around $600, as seen here on Amazon.com. I used a 20% off Harbor Freight coupon to bring it down to $240.

They also have 2-packs of Black & Decker grinders on clearance for $20.

SKU 916-064 (Thanks to techziv!)

Harbor Freight coupon in Home Depot? Is this possible?

They take competitor coupons, so yes, possible. Whether the people at your particular store will accept them...I don't know. I've used two at my HD this week ($299 table saw and $299 miter saw) and had zero problems, but I had actual coupon cutouts, not something I printed from online. You can find the coupons in Harbor Freight fliers/ads and various magazines, including some that Home Depot has in-store.

Wow, this is a really good find. I've been wanting this saw for a long time and will have to keep a look out for this.

By the way, a Home Depot near me had a contractor 2 pack of Bosch 4-1/2" angle grinders on clearance for 50% off (was $99, clearanced for $49), so I picked those up.

You better go now, or as soon as they open in the morning if you want one. They're going fast. Again, sorry I don't have the SKU, but the UPC is 0 00346 34153 9 if that's any help.

OMFG! This is an incredible price for this saw. I've had this saw for 7 years, built 10 pieces of furniture with it, and I'm still on the original blade. Don't walk, Run!

I stopped at my store in Monrovia, CA tonight. I had an employee check the price and found it was NOT on sale. Price is $599. This is for the same product that 'Thisismatt' purchased - UPC: 0 00346 34153 9

If you seriously want/need one, then I'd suggest buying it and holding onto it for a week or so to see if the price drops - return it if it doesn't.

Here's my receipt in case you don't believe me

anyone seen this table saw in ny/nj area? Nanuet NY store does not carry them.

will it cut pavers or just wood? Im a newbie homeowner.

scored one in socal! just in time for some heavy use.
thanks op!

ps. sku: 916-064

anywhere else except Cal?

Not on Clearance in Laguna Beach, CA and the guy laughed at me for thinking they could EVER be that price...dick.

Picked one up at the Glassell Park CA. I put one on hold this morning. At that time there was a second one in-stock.
Glendale CA also had one in-stock.

I did not notice any stock at Burbank when I was there last night.

Sku or UPC from receipt not found @ BM computer system in 2 Central Florida stores. I guess not all markets carry the Bosch table saws.

you might have them pull up the price on the computer.
the store i bought from had no idea they were marked down but it rang up at $299
good luck!

so ?! any success stories?!

i went to one just south of boston. they said they had five of them and they were gone within a minute of opening the doors. it was a special they ran last week. part of their contractor promotions. there are none left in the new england area.

If anyone has any luck finding some at the clearance in so cal please let me know. Orange county and down.My fiance does hard wood flooring and needs one. Thank you!

Checked Boston MetroWest stores this morning (Framingham, Marlboro, Westboro). Most sell the Bosch 4100-09, but is not on clearance.

If you have this saw, an incredibly useful mod (that I invented) is to use the extending table on the right side as a router table. Just build yourself a rectangular insert that fits inside the space created when you extend the right side, bolt your router to the bottom of that, raise your bit, and you get to use the BOSCH's excellent fence and mitre slot with your router. I made mine by screwing 2 pieces of 3/4" particleboard (top piece with a laminate surface), then routing a hole through the top so my router drops in from the top. I sunk and glued wooden pegs on either side of my new router table insert, sticking out on either side, and drilled corresponding holes in the left and right interior sides of the table saw's metal table, so you slide the right side over, drop in your router insert, seat the pegs, then slide it back in a bit to lock it in place. I can PM you a pic if this isn't all clear.

The Glendale, CA has one instock. It's not marked down. I do not see why you can not purchase it from Glendale, then take it to the Glassell store (who has it marked down, but out of stock) for a price adjustment.

If anybody in the Los Angeles area is still looking for one. If you really want it, you can take the one I bought. Obviously same price and tax. I did put the stand together with the saw. I have not used it or turned it on. I have the box and receipt for the warranty. I decided to stick with the saw I already have. It was definitely an impulse buy. So no big deal if I keep it or pas it along to someone else.

lqdsky, I'm interested....will send PM

NY/NJ area? Still looking

Things did not go through with idex.

If anyone in the Los Angeles area is interested, I would still like to pass off the saw.

Just bought one at the Downey store in So Cal. They would not take the Harbor Freight 20%, but gave me 10% off. Manager looked it up on the computer and said their cost is $569. They have one more left, brand new in box. All of Orange County is out of stock.

Downey has 1 in box in stock.
Pico Rivera has 1 in box in stock.
Whittier has 1 display in stock.
Paramount has 1 display in stock.

All the stores in Orange County and the Long Beach area knew about the deal and said multiple people had been calling.
