Sirius/XM has a new promo for $99.00. Its a one year subscription for both XM and Sirus for $99.00. (not including the $11 royalty fee) This will provide you with multiple channels include NFL, NBA and MLB. Its an excellent deal going, even better than the offer for $77 because you get Sirius too for a few bucks more.
So, can anyone else confirm this? I called and the CSR knew NOTHING about this!

I called yesterday to get the $77 deal. I was a previous subscriber that cancelled over the summer when I was laid off. The CSR kindly gave me A price of $71 for year for all stations and $10 royalty. For $82 I got all stations for the next year. I was happy with that.

I got in on the same deal as Flanman. Finally, got around to calling after reading about everyone cancelling and getting a better deal. I told them, although I like their service I wanted to cancel because it was too expensive (just under $40/quarter for me for the past 4 or 5 years)for the amount of time I listen and especially after doing away with the free internet radio. I got the $82 deal for a year but I couldn't talk them into throwing in the internet radio though. I guess I could live with 50% off for a year and try to cancel again for another deal when renewal comes around.

I called to cancel and was offered the $77/yr plan for XM. I wanted Sirius too. The rep told me that none of their promos include Sirius. I said "Are you sure? Because my buddy just got a deal for $99" I then asked her to check her computer again since this may be a brand new promo. After some pressing, I finally got $101.94 for XM AND Sirius. They also tried to tack on a $11 royalty fee, but I refused to pay it so they took it off. When I later called back, I learned that the royalty fee was still there, but they reduced the base price to account for it. This is probably what is happening when people say they don't want to pay it--they just take $11 off your bill.

All I want is internet. Is Pandora the best value at $36/yr?

I believe you do NOT get both, rather it's the "Best of Sirius". If you look at the channel guide, it's only a few Sirius channels.
Any confirmation on this? i just received my renewal notice yesterday and I want to get this $99/yr deal if i can get the CSR to do it.

My subscription was due to expire and I called the number on renewal letter (877-291-5304). After telling initial rep I wanted to cancel I was transferred to "the correct department". Explained to rep that service had just become too expensive. She checked my account then immediately offered 5 months for $20 or full year for $77. I confirmed that this included online listening and all fees and taxes and decided to accept. Not sure exactly how she figured it out but the total charged to my credit card for 1 year x 3 radios was $231.38.

yeah seems like it's the best of Sirius, as Sirius has the Korean station, XM does not, and the XM + Best of Sirius does not have the Korean station. I did notice the quality of best of sirius is really crappy as it seems they're compressing it more to the point where trebles sound like complete crap. I will definitely not be renewing next year. I'll stream from my cell phone instead.

i called today to cancel and they quickly offered to work with me to keep me as a customer. i did not do the year subscription. they lowered the "best of" package to 9.99 a month. i had been paying $60 a quarter and just payed in january. they charged me $30 bucks and refunded me $30 bucks. i think the key is to threaten to cancel and they will work with you.

After paying $77 for the past two years with a renewal date of 1/5, I called the collections department (on the letter I received) and asked for the deal of the day. He said he would have to transfer me to the promotions department.
I currently have XM Everything and asked for XM Everything + Best of Sirius for $77/year. Said she could not do it for that price, but could get close -- $87.50 for 1 year including the royalty fee.
My account had switched to monthly because I did not do anything about the renewal, so I was given a credit for that. Not really sure how she arrived at the $87.50 because she said she was going to give me a 3 month credit to offset the additional cost of XM E + Sirius to bring it down tomy price range -- regardless I was charged $87.50.
As for Internet I have always had access to it, so not sure if it will be removed now. I don't have access to all channels on via the internet, perhaps the one you pay for includes all - never checked into it.

I called them to cancel my subscription (legitimately) and they offered me 5 months for $19.99. I told them I still wanted to cancel because I'm only able to listen on the web and it's not included in that price. They threw it in for free. FYI.
lol well i had a portable xm radio from a couple years back...kept paying service on it since then and never used it...my brother got me an xm radio for my car for christmas...i called to swap the radios so the service would be to the one in my car cause i no longer used the portable one...the lady said i would be charged a $15 swap fee...i said pardon me..i've been a customer for 2 yrs and you want to charge me $15 to switch my service from one radio to another? she said that a $15 charge would appear on my credit card...i said if thats the case i will just cancel my account and start a new one under my husband and not even have to pay the $15...she said hang on...came back on the phone and said she would waive the $15 swap fee
I got my renewal in the mail Monday and called this morning. I said the renewal rate was too high and if couldn't get a better price, I would cancel (and I would have). First I was told there were no promotions and so I said then I would like my service on both radios to terminate on the renewal date and the rep was like, okay...
Then I called back and talked to a different rep who said of course there were specials for long-time customers (been with XM 5+ years) and I got both units re-upped with Best of Sirius for 99 per year plus the royalty fee (I was told they could not waive that fee).
So this is not only YMMV but YMMV might vary from one rep to another!
Good luck and keep trying.

I just renewed mine today, when I first called the lady said that there were no promotions and SHE couldnt give me a $77 rate, I then said, well I know its out there so is there someone who can? She then transferred me to another department. I told them that as a 7+ yr subscriber with 2 subscriptions that I was not willing to accept their price increase particularly when online service is now at an additional fee. She gave me the $88 rate per radio (im guessing $77 + 11 royalty fee), she wouldnt give me the online for free, (i prob didnt take the right route to get that free) For the two radios my subscription price went from $285.86 (without online) to $234.00 (with online) Only saved about $50 but had I tried to go to her superiors I probably could have fought a pretty good case. I was a chicken to threaten cancellation so I'll take my $50 and run! haha Good Luck!

mlbscouting - what number did you call? Another dumb question what the differences between the two anywayz?

so, I got.. 1 Radio XM Everything + Best of Sirius @ $101 / yr 1 Radio XM Everything @ $77 /yr NO Royalty fees on either
I had to spend 55 mins on the phone and get to a 3rd person (a supervisior) to get the above rates. The 2nd person actually put me on hold while I was speaking and canceled my 2 radios. So now my radios "are in limbo" as they put it. But supposidly the supervisor is going to reactivate later today after monitoring my account. I got her info just in case. But this was no easy quick call. She basically said that reg reps in the cancel dept are not authorized to give that rate (1yr - half price), and many don't even know about it. I had to push hard that my friend just got this exact deal.
1 Radio XM Everything + Best of Sirius @ $101.94 / yr 1 Radio XM Everything @ $77 /yr NO Royalty fees on either $178.94 total out the door
