Good catch. Black will radiate heat a little better.
Thanks OP. This is quite a good deal. In the past these things always involved a rebate. Getting it at this price, without any rebate hassle, is great!
I bought the last SATA to usb 2.0 deal from Shop4tech (couple of months ago I think), and I just used it for the first time this past weekend. The two screw holes didn't line up perfectly, so I had to put quite a bit of pressure to get the screw to go in... definitely NOT built for frequent dismantling in my opinion, but thankfully in my case that isn't required.
For $6 it's worth it.
Guardian44, you really think the black radiates heat better?? I know black absorbs heat better, but I thought that was in the case of sunlight (and any light)... wouldn't something NOT painted dissipate heat better?
