Thanks OP.

Witcher downloads found HERE .

Complete download all in one HERE

Best deal so far for The Witcher game. It was a big seller during the holiday Steam sale for about $13.

Enhanced version "retail" also available at a discount HERE direct from Atari .

Funny though the Atari site shows $20 price , then ... "Enter code atari50 in shopping cart for 50% off" ; but only gives $5 off vs $10 .... whats up with that ? Anyway not a bad price for $15+ship retail version .

This was such a great game. The version I got had two music CDs of the soundtrack and original music inspired by the game. I've never enjoyed the soundtrack for a game more than this one (except maybe Diablo).

Huge GREEN!!!

Note: the UI and character control is a little strange to get used to, and drove me crazy at first, but give it time.

$10 now for The Witcher.

Not bad, not quite as hot.

I'm playing The Witcher right now. Awesome RPG made specifically for the PC. It's a steal at $7 or $10.

Freakin' seller sent me The Witcher DVD - WITHOUT a freakin Serial Key!!!

When I sent them an email, they responded saying:

"We are sorry that our listing confused you. The listing it's only for DVD so if you want to patch it you will need serial number. We are sorry you disappointed you and we will submit the request to our manager so refund you 50% of the payment. Let us know if that's ok thank you.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, great scam. It sounds like Fatwallet should re-evaluate its CashBack relationship with ZZF. This deal was posted on various sites and they're basically pulling the old "empty box" scam. A poster on SD said they received a "not for resale" disc from an MSI bundle. I suppose you could try reporting them to eBay and to the game publisher.

Yeah, it just came in a plain white envelope. I demanded a full refund and received it, which is the only saving grace to the situation.

Yeh whats up no key . No new game today can be installed/used without one . When ZZF says "DVD ONLY ,that should ALWAYS include paper sleeve with the serial number on it without question . How friking stupid is ZZF these days ?

Fight it with eBay (and or Paypal - both). Demand atleast ALL your $$$ back .

Unbelievable . This will may me thing twice about ANY purchase from ZZF in the future .

Wow. They sold 45 of these from the current eBay listing. Nothing in their listing suggests that you are getting anything other than a new game. They even give the UPC code for the item.

I dont think you need the serial to install or even patch the game if I remember right, its just to register the game.

Not from my experience. When I attempted to patch the game with Patch 1.4, it required me to register the game, which of course you can't do without the serial key.

And, I'm not about to attempt playing the game without the new patches. Just not worth the bug hastles.

If there's a way to patch the game and install "The Witcher Enhanced Edition" without the serial key, let us all know!

TIA

In order to get your full refund, did they require you to return the disc?

I offered (in my initial email) and was willing, but they told me to keep the game. Not that it does me much good.

I just went to install the patch and noticed the same thing. I've demanded a refund as well.

I knew something was up when I looked at the DVD and saw that it says "Bundle Version Not For Sale".

Do not buy this version. As posted above, it does not come with a serial number so that you can register it to get the updates. On the CD it clearly states "bundled not for resale." These are disks they get sold with video cards. zipzoomfly should be ashamed of themselves for passing these off as new and the full version. I requested my money back Friday evening and if by Monday evening I have not heard from them I am calling ZZF and filing a complaint, also filing through eBay. They know better than this, and it is just fraud on their part.

The other deals look like they will come with legit keys but I seriously doubt that they are anything other than "bundle offers" that never got handed out and are being sold for a small profit.

My question for those who, like me, bought The Witcher and requested a refund: Have you received your refund yet? If so, how long did it take?

Thanks!

I'm still fighting zip zoom fly. They emailed me through eBay and told me to contact Atari that they would give me a serial number, but their contact form wasn't working. I called zip zoom fly yesterday and talked to Jennifer about it, she has yet to call me back. Very disappointed in Zip Zoom, I have done business with them for years.

I've already received my refund; it came within a day or so of my complaint. Don't know why mine was processed so quickly.

Atari sent me a serial number. I opened a support case and had the serial number the next day.

Just spoke to Jennifer at zip zoom fly returns. She said my return was approved and I should see the money back in my account late tomorrow or tomorrow. We will see. Still pretty crappy for a what used to be a pretty good computer store to pull crap like this.

Wow, me too. I have always had excellent service from them, but have not done business there in a while. Did they get bought out maybe? New management?

Got my refund today. Jennifer from zip zoom fly never called me back, but I called her twice. Not happy but at least it's over with.
