Where are you finding $1 return fares? The cheapest I'm seeing is Guadalajara to LAX for $67 plus fees..

I have traveled extensively through mexico and central america. I travel like the locals, ride on local buses, stay in everyday neighborhoods. The reality the media paints of the outside world is warped. Yes there is a lot of violence that happens in Mexico and every other country in the world. But just like here in the US 99.9% of the time the people who get killed and hurt are the ones who involve themselves in that world. You dont buy drugs, you dont start fights, you use common sense and Mexico and other so called dangerous countries are safe.
