Thanks, I corrected the title. It says used but I believe when it comes from Amazon is liek refurbished and looks new and has the same warranty so its different than USED.
It's a decent price. Check your local CL tho. I managed to pickup the elite brand new for $240 from some chick and i had a few other people who said they'd take 250 new.
wow thats a good price on CL but I rather get it from Amazon to get the full 1 year warranty from Microsoft. Plus it comes sealed like new. I have purchased refurbished items before (not XBOx but laptops and PDAs from Dell) and they looked and even smelled identical to brand new.
Good question I will try to email Amazon to find out.

You can currently get the elite with the 2 games for 299 with free shipping plus you get a $50 AMZ gift card which would be 299-50= 249 for a brand new one. Note - you can't use the gift card toward the elite purchase but you know you are going to need accessories/games anyway.
