This looks identical to the WalMart Emachines one for $298. Acer owns Emachines, and from looking at the side by side pictures, you could pretty much change the Emachines logo on the Walmert one to Acer and get this one. The specs look identical, also.

Agree.. except the webcam .. Paying $100 extra fro webcam is not worth
How hot do these things get? What I love about netbooks are the battery life and that I don't need a fan, but the one notebook I had was too warm to put on the laps.
keep watching this item out of stock constantly but just came back in and I bought one and out of stock 5 mins later....Is this really such a great machine or is it the price?
