Priced matched BB as well. TV looks great. Thanks OP. When I called to price match a few hours ago the guy said only 1 left in Downer's Grove and I was the 5th or 6th call.
I so wanted this during BF 2009. Ended up with the 47LH50 (same specs, just larger) for $899.
The actual viewing distance for us is only about 6' and while I love the big screen there is just about an inch of clearance between it and the adjacent patio door.
Got mine at Fryes Manahattah Beach, CA. Best Buy right across the street on sepulveda would not price match. They said the price was too low. They claimed it had to be a clearance price by Fryes. Such BS. Tearing up my rewards card. Thanks OP.

The item is on the top left of the page, but it's $899 although underneath the price it says "After instant rebate and before promo code 301" so does that mean promo code 301 whatever that may be will deduct more? I'm guessing this is a regional deal.

Darn. I just bought the 42LH30 not too long ago for about the same price. Well, I'm going to the Arlington Fry's tomorrow for some other items but I can do a definite price check on this for you guys.

They were also shelf tagged $598 at Fry's in Houston when I bought one tonight.

I went to the Fry's in Downers Grove, IL. They were all out. Bestbuy said that they would price match IF Fry's had the TV in stock. Now I just want to know one thing. Why would I want to buy this from BB instead of Fry's???? Other than the 10 dollar card (ZOMG that's a lot of money)...
Well anyway, the guy at Fry's gave me a rain check so I can get it whenever they get a stock from LG...

I went to BB because Downer's Grove is an hour plus, each way from the north side.

The TV is great so far except my 360 has some shadowing to the right of most images and text. It's not terrible, but definitely noticeable. I'm connected via Component, but my old 26" lcd TV didn't do this. Any thoughts.
I just got back from Fry's in Concord, CA. They are OOS, but they gave me a rain check. No that I needed 1 though.

I just returned from the Manhattan Beach location. They had one in stock but it was an open box. I was told they give only 5% off so I took a raincheck. They are expecting a new shipment Monday. Update: Went on Monday but still OOS.
I have this TV. I picked it up before the Superbowl. Here are a few things for you to know. First..this is not a DLNA TV. Having said that, I think it works better on my LAN than either of my DLNA Samsung TV's. I plugged it into my LAN and could just go to the shared folders. It can play Divx, Xvid and MKV files..among others. And it also does Netflix VERY nicely.
Now that is the good.
The bad is this.. It does have a nice picture. But you will likely see some interlace issues with the 1080i inputs you may get from cable companies like TWC. They say that you just set the picture mode to "Just Scan"....that works a little....but only a little. Overall it is a nice picture..and I do like the TV. It is not Samsung B650 quality picture quality..but it is also not far off. And here is one that you might not think of..the channel lineup. It is not really bad...but I like the way that Samsung does it a little better. With Samsung, they mix the Digital/HD and the old style channels on the lineup. With this LG, they separate them.

has anyone had any issue with "crackling noise" periodically coming from the tv? It sounds like firewood crackling. Its very faint but can be heard. Could this be from a cheap hdmi cable or from the surge protecter? The speakers are built into the tv itself so its hard to tell.

UPDATE: As stated earlier, I had gotten a "rain check" for this item from Frys. I kept calling them and they kept telling me the item should arrive on the 18th of March. On the 18th, they told me that the item had been discontinued. I was angry with this and went to the store. I asked for the store manager, his assistant came and talked to me. He gave me the display item and gave me a huge discount on their 2 year protection plan.
So far, I'm very happy with the picture quality of this TV with my PS3. I have yet to test it out with Dish Network's HD
But this item has been discontinued so this deal isn't valid anymore
