Hey Everyone I just got a GREAT deal on a fridge at Home Depot. Model# LMX25985ST it is on sale for $1998, BUT there is a price mistake making it $1698 then use a USPS 10% off Lowes coupon and it comes down to $1528.20 + Tax.

This is a YMMV as They took down the sign as soon as I bought the Fridge. GOOD LUCK!

Pic of price Adjustment!!!!!

I came back in with the 10% off coupon and got a price adjustment again.
Price Adjust with Lowes 10% off coupon

The Home Depot
Need a The Home Depot coupon that earns 3.0% Cash Back?

Why did I get Red????

There is no price mistake, LMX25985ST is priced at $1698, main model LMX25981ST is priced at $1998. You paid the correct price, and you deserve another red.

THEY TOOK THE TAG OFF WHEN I BOUGHT IT!!!! I took the pic before they removed it !

website lists it at $2699.
$1699 is a good price to me. If you buy 4 appliances you will get $500 in rebate from LG

This is a good price. I have been looking at them for about a month now and this is the cheapest I have seen this model.
The lowest I have seen it in the past couple of weeks is 1700 from buyers edge.

Thanks Vaylon. At least there is some love on this forum. I was real happy when I found this deal....

OK deal, not great like vaylon stated, right now $1800 at buyers edge but they have free s/h and no tax for me so the price is a little more but no YMMV since a lot of Home Depots are now not accepting coupons from Lowe's. Don't get tricked by the crappy $2699 MSRP price. Look on google shopping and you'll see average going price is around $2000

$1998 at my local HD. The saleperson said LG lost their "Energy Star" rating and that's why they have slashed prices on all of their appliances.
Also if you buy 4 LG appliances, you will get $500 back (Rebate)

It's not a price mistake.
The LMX25981ST is $1998, the LMX25985ST is $1698. Sears has the LMX25985ST for about $1700.
HD has 10% off appliances over $399 so I got the LMX25985ST for around $1520 today. Excellent price for this model

Are you sure the price in the system is $1698? The tag in my store has been changed to $1998. If the system comes out as $1698, I will definitely buy it.

Yes. If you check energy star website, 11 LG fridges have been taken off the list, including some kermore made by LG.

I gave a green but I would visit Lowes early in the morning and look for scratch and dent merchandise to buy. I purchased a $1,100 fridge for $500 because it had a small dent. I actually like the dent now because it reminds me that is saved $600 however stupid that sounds, LOL.

X2. the sales person at Homedepot told me that the LG sales rep they deal with commented that they were not ramping up their lines for 2010 to qualify more models for the Energy Star rating so they will go on selling as is for 2010. 2011 is too far ahead to say what the company plans to do.
