:barf;
forest hills / tournaments (have one!) are the best sneaker I ever had - no other brand does make anything close / comfort and quality wise / tournaments are the limited editions and hard to get / usually SO very quick!
Adidas Forest Hills Vintage from the men's Forest Hills Adidas Forest Hills Vintage tennis shoe range from Adidas is a legend reborn. Adidas Forest Hills Vintage, first introduced in 1977, was considered one of the best pro tennis shoes to date. Adidas Forest Hills Vintage has now been given an upgrade, with a ventilation system developed in conjunction with NASA -- and an industry leader Adidas Forest Hills Vintage EVA mid-sole for exceptional comfort.
The Adidas Forest Hills Vintage from the famous Adidas Tournament collection is from a series of the Adidas' most iconic shoes, reworked to pay homage to their original incarnations and the Adidas brand's court heritage.
The Forest Hills was the first shoe to attain cult terrace status in Europe when it was released in the 70s, and this Adidas Forest Hills Vintage resurrects the original in a new understated but classy version. Adidas Forest Hills Vintage shoes are available in limited numbers from listed stockists.
Not a deal in the sense of price, but it is similar to the no HFCS drinks threads, reason being the low availability of the item. Might be suitable to the "Deal Discussion" section.
I remember I once had a pretty similar pair when I was a kid, in the early 80's, and was so proud of them, even wore them when they ran small. And that happened behind the iron curtain, so it was a rarity back then to see such "beauties" around there.
Too bad I already have the sports shoes for the nest few years lined up in the closet. I'll save the link though; who knows, a windfall might make me change priorities...
