What? Did they fix these or something? 7200RPM are 50/50 for reliability. So I bought 5900 RPM. After 1 DOA and 2 failures, I won't buy any 1.5TB anymore. I don't think that the technology has baked enough.

Price is right . . . . be sure to do your research before purchasing.
I have 30 of these drives. 0 Failures. I ordered from Dell 9 months ago and if you properly cool them and you don't get poorly packed shipping as Newegg has recently been known for then you should be fine and end up with a reliable drive. The drives are very fast too I max our gigabit network on doing file transfers and with cached local file moves I've seen 400MBs on our Raid 5 sets.
