Yes. Most of the smoothies have yoghurt or sorbet as one of their ingredients (which have added sugar). The All-fruit smoothies taste a little less sweet but are a little bit healthier.
The calorie count of the smoothies depends a lot on what size you get. If you are trying to lose or maintain your weight, the regular-sized smoothies can fill you up and replace a meal, which can reduce your overall caloric intake.
To each their own, but as for me, twice a week I enjoy a nice 1000+ calorie Chipotle Burrito followed by a Power-size Jamba Juice smoothie after running 10+ miles. (My BMI is lower than it ought to be and I am working hard to increase it, but I'm addicted to Soccer and Futsal)
+1 OP, Thanks!

All fruit smoothies range in calories from the low 200s (for their small size) to the low 400s for the largest size. These are definitely some of the healthiest options out there if you're looking for a smoothie.
opathal said: Its funny that people think these are healthy....when they're 500+ calories. I just takes common sense. If you order a 3/4 liter bucket of peanut butter whatever smoothie, of course it's going to be very high in calories. Most beverages there of sensible size will be closer to 200-300 calories and made up from fruit. I would say getting a few servings of fruit while consuming ~10% of daily recommended calories isn't "unhealthy"
My biggest concern with J.J. is that they use styrofoam cups.

Wow, that's so crazy, I do the exact same thing! Except for the 10+ mile run (it's actually a 10+ mile drive for me).

Cant they make it more wasteful by adding more dark colored space? Talk about ink/toner wasted for coupons they will throw away...
i always print these in gray scale or black and white under quick print for lowest ink usage. never had an issue but if they were to ask or refuse i'd tell them i printed it on a laser jet printer.
All calories aren't the same. If it's chunks of fruits, it's good because the minerals and nutrients prevent the sugar, in the form of fructose, to damage the body. If it's juice, that's just sugar with a vitamin or two. In other words, it's almost like half a can of soda with a vitamin pill.
I don't dislike Jamba, but I just don't find myself going there much. I wish they focused more on higher protein thats not soy. Then it would be a decent post-lift drink. But like others said, its not as healthy compared to others as youd think.
I agree that there is nothing wrong with calories as long as you exercise regularly, which you should be doing anyway. What is unhealthy is the chemicals and animal fats that you get in most junk foods.
