Me too...trying to build a cheap NAS machine and the MSI board has 4 sata ports. Going to use this in combo with FreeNAS and software RAID to do the job.

in san jose mercury, they have corsair xms3 1600mhz for 89.99 after rebate. thats a solid deal for a solid memory set.

The worry was if they could make any money at all, or even lose money on flash memory. Not sure why it hasn't been past on to retail.

RAM prices are actually rising. Expect to wait a very long time, the prices are going to rise for a long time before it will go down again.
Thanks for the heads up OP. I'm probably going to pick up the 320gb 7.2k drive for my macbook. told myself my next move was to SSD, but prices aren't comin' down as fast as I'd hoped they would.

Did this start today? I just tried to get the celeron combo at my local fry's in renton and they said they were all out. The sales rep was telling me that they should have some new sales with something similar starting soon. Just didn't know when I should look next.

Was that the really short asian dude? Because if it was, you can't really trust him, get a different employee to do the stock check and writeup for you.
IDK what is is with that guy, if he has a napoleon complex or if he's just really lazy, but he was trying to screw with people the last time I was in for the i7. New boards on the shelf (and in hand), processors in stock, but he was telling people they were OOS. (I had another employee check stock before I went back, so I called him on it - and he tried to block the employee that was helping me from using the pc even after stock was confirmed.)
I picked up the last MSI mobo that was included in the combo at the south Phoenix frys. It's a drag when they only have a few in stock. Might check San Diego today...
I got the biostar g41 board with the e3300; was expecting the combo with the msi g31; found one of each; my frys had more cpus than boards available.

I can only overclock the e3300 with MSI board to 3G using PC2 6400 ram ( FSB set to 240 ), but always can not oc the FSB set to 266 even I set the FSB mem ratio to 1:1. Any one get higher OC please tell me how to OC this to 3.3G ( FSB set to 266, as I googled but don't figure out how to achieve )? Thanks.
