Wife called and said to come home to give my opinion on something. I was sure it was going to be a $25k awd suv on a test drive(recently thought I persuaded her to not to). It was a new bedding set, maybe a hundred bucks. "Do you like it?" "I LOVE it!"

DS12 made some pasta for dinner. I forget the kind, really squiggly pasta. Even though he's a crazed meat lover like me he thought the sauce wasn't "saucy" enough for mom so he added a can of pizza sauce to thin it. It was good. The garden cucumbers were Russian Roulette, though. Some bitter, some fine.

I don't want to say, but I did it 41 times. I just felt like 42 would be overkill.

Puppies. Especially puppies with glued ears. They sort of look like bat ears. They make me giggle.
(Ears are glued so they don't "break over" and they will stand up straight when the glue wears off.)

was at a flea market and found a box of Linksys networking stuff (wireless g router, although not one of the desirable early full ddrt hackable ones, pcmcia card, pci card). Had a free sign on it, but I figured that had to be a mistake - it was the only thing on the table that was worth anything. Asked how much and they said "it's free, just take it".
I would have gone as high as $10. Score!

Hotel room service... when you travel to the other side of the globe and your sleep schedule isn't synched up yet, it would a LONG night sitting around waiting for breakfast, when the last meal you had was a small breakfast the day before...

I love doing garage sales and the such, but right now its downsize time. My brother even called me today about a camera, one had promise but meh, a minolta with a meh lens isn't worth the bother or probably the $12 they wanted. If I could figure out how to cram a ccd in these old slr beasts I'd be rich.

Hotel room service condiments. Those itty bitty bottles of catsup, mustard, mayo, honey, jam always make me smile.

I agree!! ONLY when it isn't lagging and I don't hear 12 year olds telling me to suck their d**ks....or older guys asking why I haven't made them a sandwich.
Brightens my day when I go 31/6 and they back out.

I found a secret new parking space at work - a section of road reasonably close by with no parking restrictions that almost nobody else seems to know is there. Wonder how long it will last.
