I made some unexpected money today. A sell limit order executed this afternoon. I wasn't watching the market and I didn't realize the price was up. Nice surprise. Maybe I should quit my job and become a day trader. I can make more money from a single stock trade than I do all week at work.

I like rain, too, as long as it doesn't interfere with something I need to do. I especially like the sound of rain at night. I like it less when I'm on my way to a meeting in a dry clean only suit and leather shoes.

Andersen Windows. Window seal had broken so there was moisture between the panes of glass; I called them 3 weeks ago, the phone call lasted about 2 minutes for them to tell me they would order me a new one. Last week they called to set up install appt for today. Replacement window guy was here exactly on time and replaced the window in 5 minutes, cleaned it and left.
So less than 10 minutes total of my time to replace the window! Oh how I love good customer service!!

date night with hubby tonight. we went out to have sushi. for appetizer i had beef nachos shared with him. I enjoyed my first newcastle. Different but I prefer blue moon. he had a sapporo. We ordered a nigiri platter and 2 sushi soft shelled crabs. It is so good! Nigiri White tuna tasted better than i thought and thoroughly enjoyed my soft shelled crab and eel nigiri. He had salmon and regular tuna nigiri as well. We ended our night with ice cream cake! Ginormous piece of dessert and of course kentucky is being beat by florida state

When I woke up this morning, my apartment smelled wonderful from all the cleaning and laundry I did yesterday with Mrs. Meyer's geranium scented all purpose cleaner and laundry detergent. I usually use lavender scented products, but I think the geranium smells even better.

I was at the local market, trying desperately to remember what ingredients i needed in the Produce Dept to make the 2 entrees I had in mind to cook. I saw an elderly man in the aisle on one knee. As I moved closer one of the staff approached him from the opposite direction and asked if he needed assistance, a chair, medical care, etc. He was friendly and calm. The man said he just needed to catch his breath, thanked the employee and said he would be fine. YAY for this considerate and small gesture.
I just used a seam ripper to take out two very offending side tags on the silk tank I am wearing. Not only are they gone, but I also didn't ruin the integrity of the seam under the tags. Yay!
