Yabba Dabba Delay! Fox Presses Pause on The Flintstones Reboot

Fox has put the brakes on its upcoming reboot of The Flintstones TV series due to Seth MacFarlane's jam-packed schedule, Deadline reports.

The Flintstones, which was first announced in May at the network's upfront presentation for a fall 2013 launch, will be put on hold indefinitely because MacFarlane's workload has not allowed the time he needs to devote to the project.

yikes, nooooo thank you

chicken gun! chicken gun!

I'll never understand this video. Why are people ignoring this train? And why is
the train track in the middle of the city street?

Not all countries have the luxury of planning/rebuilding their infrastructure for citizens' convenience. Perhaps those streets were already built, and the need arose for a train route, and the one through that city was the most direct / least resource intensive one. Or maybe the city grew, over decades and decades, around the train tracks because of the convenience in transporting resources.

As for why the people are ignoring it - it's moving at 5 mph so it's movement is predictable, AND, they don't want to stop because once the lead car passes them, they'll have to wait for all of the cars to pass (at 5 mph, no less) before they're able to cross the street and get where they're going. Apparently the cops aren't vigilant about preventing this from happening.

I assume all this already crossed your mind, but if not, I hope it cleared things up.

The video was taken in Augusta, Georgia. If that car would have stalled at frame 2:24 even a train going slow could do some serious damage, especially since the train would have hit the drivers side. Everyone is in a hurry these days, so let's beat the train. At least the car stopped so the cat could cross the street safely.
