HEB has freshly cored pineapple every day. It's chunked and packaged, sitting in a cooler near the fresh pineapple. It's a few cents more that buying a whole pineapple and coring/chunking it myself, but I can't nibble a whole fresh one on the way home.

I have a pineapple plant on the back deck. It's two years old, so we may get a pineapple off of it this summer.

I have a small bunch of bananas on one tree. Still green. I hope I get to use them this year. The last time they produced we got bad freezing weather and the trees had to be hacked down.

We have a small stand of bananas off one corner of the deck. We usually have a nice big bunch of bananas that isn't quite ripe and then a hurricane comes along and blows the whole plant over.

Gotta be up at 4:30 AM. Pfft.. you get overtime. What do I get for working last night on an emergency fix between 2 AM and 2:30 AM? A "Thank You", maybe.
I just greened MA for his post saying the cat was in charge of his household finances. Suddenly a large notice popped up that I had earned two more "achievements". It scared me.

He's wondering WHY there are two TV's in the suite and why she threw him out into the living room so she could watch her show.

In other news, my dog sitter just posted on Facebook that JetBlue is giving away two free tickets to all Facebook subscribers and she hopes hers come soon. She is serious.

I had a neighbor come over in tears holding one off those publishers clearing house mailers thinking she had won. She wanted to use my phone to call family and friends and let them know. It was so sad.
