The correct name is One World Trade Center, not Freedom Tower.
Might as well name it New World Order center.

After watching the movie, I read the Hunger Games and Catching Fire books in two days. I've been reading Mockingjay very slowly for the past two weeks because I can't stand for the trilogy to end.

I dont care if there is a 14 hour layover in Istanbul while going to India.. Turkish Airlines is winning right now. Tickets for the Mrs will be $1669 since she comes back on a different date. Average ticket price of $1525 On the plus side, Mrs will be with me while going to India.. so the layover wont be that boring. And on the way back.. the layover is only 1 hour 10 minutes for me, 2 hours 50 minutes for Mrs.

PSA (And not the prostate exam type): If you are scheduled to have a procedure requiring general anesthesia, pleasepleaseplease do NOT take your lisinopril the morning of surgery. You WILL be cancelled. There is a reason I tell everyone not to take ANYTHING at all by mouth the morning of surgery. You are going to the hospital. If your blood pressure goes wacky, they can give you something IV for it. Something compatible with the general anesthesia.

Speaking of odd questions:
I've been getting a rash of phone calls from females who have recently had abdominal surgery. GB, appy, a coupla colectomies. They are asking if it's ok if the cook. As in, meals, in the kitchen, for their families. The common factor is there seems to be some sort of Old Wive's Tale running through the hispanic community that heat from the stove will interfere with healing. I wouldn't have made that jump if my receptionist wasn't hispanic and told me that's what the deal is...lol.

It's their culture I guess. One assistant in another room even beleives in voo-doo dolls. Luckily, they leave all that stuff at home when in the classroom.

My guess is that at some point, a female was told she couldn't work in the kitchen. And I think it probably had to do with lifting heavy pots and pans and standing on her feet for several hours at a time. We certainly don't want anyone pulling a 25lb turkey out of the oven 3 days after surgery. Or lifting a huge pot of tamales.
mmmm...tamales....

Here in Seattle (Hippie Mecca), it's the old Mercedes & Volkswagen's, and then they convert them into the biodiesel.

When some of his more eccentric habits at work got management upset with him, he threatened to hex the lot of us, and especially voodoo curse the boss. It did rather make me wonder if HR had a section in their manual on dealing with employee curses and hexes.

I was threatened last year by a employee who believed he was a prophet. He threatened me with the wrath of G*d. Got up in my face, shouting and threatening. Turned out later he has a whole you tube channel full of videos of his prophecies. If I can find one I'll link it.
