Since salami seems popular today, the Tartufo salami here is the best domestic salami I've ever eaten. It is delicious. I'm not affiliated with the company in any way, just a happy customer. I normally have a queue of ~12 of those aging at home, they're awesome after about 6 months.
If you know someone who loves salami, treat them.
That is all

I suppose dogs find them tasty. But dogs also like to roll in dead yucky things. Or cow manure. Or seaweed.

Those aren't bad. Little Cesar's doesn't have a horrible odor. But Pedigree pouches are quite stenchful.
Science Diet Natural Balance kibble for puppies sort of smells tasty...in an I'm starving and would eat...nevermind.

Subway is offering their cold cut combo for $2 (and thus, a footlong for $4). But all their processed meats are made from turkey. The salami is turkey, the baloney is turkey, no matter what they call it, it's all turkey.

Where do you get such delightful looking salume? Don't mind me I see the blue underlining now.
I've always stopped into a place on arthur ave in the bronx in NY to get some sopresatta. Great stuff. But I was in rochester, ny the other week, stopped in wegmans and they had the columbus chubs, properly aged and moldy. Bought some, ate most of it, brought one home and had my mom try it. She said it was one of the closest things to the ones her grandfather made in a long time.
Do you peel?

I do peel. They sell some of this brand at some Wegmans and some Whole Foods, but I buy them direct and age them at home. They make one "exclusive to Whole Foods" and I forget the name but it's not very good.

I remember reading an article years ago in Car and Driver about drivers who were driving in a rally in the middle of nowhere in Alaska. One of the suggestions was that you should pack a couple cans of dog food in the car. Because if you pack jerky or trail mix or whatever, you'll probably just eat it when you are bored or a little hungry, but you won't eat dog food unless you have a major emergency/ are stranded and have no choice.

I may have to break down and buy some online. I went to a cheese shop in a fancy part of town hoping to see something cured. They sold me something that looked like it could be good. Ingredient list said the white stuff was fake mold, not the real deal.
I looked up retailers for the site you linked, there's one in st pete I might have to try and stop in next time I'm in the area. I'm very tempted to buy am old deep freezer and convert into a curing chamber and roll my own. I can even get wild boar locally, just take out the shotgun.

Go for it. The ones they sell online are all good, with the truffle one being sublime. The Barolo one is my second favorite.
