What to get hubby? He has been eyeing a new macbook pro laptop and also a big ginormous flat screen monitor so he can work from home. But any other thoughts? It falls on a Monday and so we probably will just go out to dinner

how about just staying married for another year? why do you have to get one another anything? we've been married over 10. never given each other gifts for anniversary... save your money for things you need, not things you don't. your daily PSA brought to you by FWF...

The first anniversary is "paper". get creative and greet him wearing a paper nightie. or buy him a dirty book or an origami lesson or a homemade coupon booklet of favors he'd like or a love letter.
editing to add: ok, it falls on a monday...brown bag lunch date

Save the monitor for a surprise another day.
Write down your favorite things about him on a piece of paper.

woohoo! i got newearrings!!! Love them!!!! and a nice trendy diamond necklace to wear out (if we ever go to a fancy place) I am thinking of asking him to return the diamond necklace piece. It is cute but I think it is too slicky, might get ripped off easily.
In return hubby gets me

We just had our 16th. Mrs: "About tomorrow.." Me: "We're off the hook?" Mrs: "Yes. And I mean REALLY off the hook, no bringing me flowers at the last minute." Me: "Deal" (fist bump, back to eating dinner)
