haven't been there in about 20 years. fastpass, online programs for rides, sheesh... so complicated now. i remember going in junior high, on weekdays and not having to deal with ANY lines.

I went to Adventureland, just a kinda local amusement park. Lines are absurd early in the day, but towards evening there are barely any. Rides aren't fun anymore now though, rollercoasters feel kinda slow now even though one there apparently goes like 60mph.

Granted this picture is at the slightly more obnoxious corporate shakedown that is DisneyWorld, not Disneyland, but this picture about sums up the places.

never been to any disney theme park, too money driven. I wasn't the most excited about adventureland, it's honestly kinda lame even in the commercials, but I think the tracks and guides and everything taking away the element of danger take some of the fun away

aren't there package pricing deals for Disneyland and DCA when purchased together? A friend who goes there annually with his kids (little ones, who I think are 9 now but have been going annually for 5 years or so) for 4ish days said DCA is sometimes a nice change, but not worth going to by itself.
