As of 5pm earlier this afternoon, there were 10+ people camped out in front of the Best Buy in Laurel, MD. Was contemplating hanging out there with them, but after browsing through all of the Black Friday ads, I realized there are tons of items I *want*, but nothing I *need* plus I was just way too tired after my two turkey meals. So I will be keeping myself amused by stories of others who lined up.

I can find some of these deals somewhere else for a similar price without freezing my hiney off in the pouring rain.

Well I just got back from my best buy....Around 7pm I headed down there to see if a line had started....5 or six people in cars but that was it. I get out with my chair and make the line and everyone else gets out and we have ourselves the start of a line.....20 minutes later security dude rolls up and says “WTF ARE YOU GUYS DOING?” Since I was the leader of the line I talk to him and explain everything about BF and how people get in line...He said that was fine but no one was allowed to get in line until 12am.....I asked him if he was sure about that and he repeatedly told me “no one will be lining up until 12 on my watch...no ifs and or buts we had to get off the sidewalk.

So my brother, my friend and myself, we head over to the theater to watch Deja Vu which is not that bad a movie....Around 10 we head back to just wait in the car until twelve and low and behold over 80 people are now in line!!!!!! I drive around and find security dude and he says around 9:00 people had started lining up again some some superior of his called him and told him to let people get in line....I asked if he would vouch for me if I went up to the front of the line and just sat down saying I had been there hours before but had gotten run off, but he said he did not want to get his but kicked since there were so many people So I am now back home, first BF in a long time that I am actually sleeping in my bed There were some things I wanted but nothing I really can't live without

Just went by a Best Buy in Federal Way, WA. Over 100 people were camped out in line a little bit after 9PM. So much for trying to get that HP laptop.

Little Rock,AR BB is also seeing people having their thanksgiving late night snacks right in front of their store. around 100-150 people (building up) since 9PM ish....

9:00pm Same thing at the Maine Mall Best Buy - 80 to 100 people - they've got tents and campstoves set up and all that crap - it's raining on and off - they all look like ebayers too (whatever an ebayer looks like - you know - never seen daylight). Darn I miss the old days when 3am was a good time to show up.

I hear you. The unemployed double dipping types. We get support them with our tax dollars, and in turn they get to sell junk on eBay as unreported income. America at its finest.

SE Michigan store has 80 in line at 11 PM on Thursday. CC had 30 to 40. No in front of the Staples. At 11PM it about about 30F outside.

10:30 PM, in Santa Rosa, CA, BB has about 150, OD about 3, OM 0, CC about 10.

got there about 4:45AM, line moved pretty quickly. once inside i couldn't find the 22" westinghouse, by the time as associate pointed me in the right direction there were 3 on the floor and the same family grabbed all 3. i was bummed but i knew people in the past would abandon items so i walked around for 15 min hoping to find an abandoned one. it was my lucky day, someone left one right by where they were on the floor. i walked over to it thinking someone would claim it. after waiting about a minute i picked it up still waiting for someone to say it was theirs. no one said anything so i checked out. was done by 5:50am. also got to use $6 best buy bucks from mcdonalds
