Yikes! Not sure how to approach the holiday this year! Is anyone doing anything special for their SO? Any creative ideas out there? I think this is cool - http://www.youtube.com/user/greatestlovestories

I've been married 16 years and I'm tired of trying to make valentine's day "special". I'm getting hubby that Popcorn Factory variety tin that was posted in hot deals a few days back.

DH usually makes heart shaped rice krispy treats and dyes them pink. Then he cooks a prime rib and brings out a bottle of wine... which ends up giving him what he wants.

I'm really bad at valentines day.. so he usually gets a video game of some kind.

this is the first valentine's day(in 8 years) my husband will be home. just give me some chocolate, lots of chocolate and i'll be happy.

eta: damn.....does this mean i have to buy him a gift?

I've made a nice dinner for the two of us for the last 10 years. This year, we're going out for dinner with two other couples for Valentine's day. Should be nice for a change. Haven't figured out anything to give him yet, but I'll be inspired with an idea by then, I hope.

I bought the wife of 3.5 years a trip to San Diego. I of course get to go along. 4 days away from the cold on Chicago to spend in So Cal.
