So I'm up in NJ visiting the 'rents. I have a family function tomorrow afternoon, and thought it would be cool to bring my digital camera. I took it out today and realized that the SD card I normally keep in it is still sitting in the card reader of my PC back in Maryland.
So tomorrow morning I'm going to have to go out and buy an SD card, despite having probably a dozen scattered around my house. And probably pay close to full price for it.
I was in a rush when I packed - I dropped the cat off to board at the vet Friday morning, went to work Friday and then drove up Friday night. I'm driving back tomorrow night - probably leaving around 8pm and getting back to MD around midnight. I didn't want to miss the family thing, but also didn't want to have to take any time off work.
Well, it seems to me that if one can fly from Indonesia to North Carolina in 20 hours, including driving to & from airports, getting through baggage check & customs, etc.., that you should be able to drive from NJ to MD and back in 15 minutes. What's the problem?

Actually, they dug up an old digital camera that I had given them a while ago (which they've never touched). It had an SD card I had given them with it. It was 16mb. Not much of a help.

Well, for all those waiting with baited breath, I ended up going to walgreens and getting the 1 gig sandisk for $10. It helped that they were open 24 hours, while CC didn't open until 10.

When I went to car show last week I realized I forgot my SD card so missed some good shots. Then as I was driving home listening to music I remembered that it was from the SD card I have CDs on. Duh forgot all about that.
