That's funny--our social event for the Tuesday night we'll be there is an Ironbirds game.

I'm not a big baseball person, but it's a nice stadium. And you've got to love a team whose mascot is Ferrous the airplane.

As far as hanging out when you are in town, I'm down. It would be cool to meet a FWOT member IRL.

Ferrous the Airplane??? That's a hoot! I will have to look him up.

zzyzzx--I did not know there was a tank museum. I will have to see if I have time to get there. Are you close enough to meet up in Aberdeen, or is that a stretch for you?

I do, strictly based on the food. The place is always packed and has out-dated decor, so if you don't the diner-ish atmosphere, I have never had a bad meal. Huge portions, but the crab cakes are really their forte'. Greeks own it, how can you go wrong!

The original Campesi's in Dallas and Doe's Eat Place in Little Rock are like that, too. The food is amazing; the decor, etc., not so much.

/working on planning how to get down to G&M while in the area/

So where's a good place to get together in the Aberdeen area? Don't be sending me to a dive motel, swingers club or gay bar, now (although gay bars usually have great music...)! Chuck E. Cheese is out, too, corgs!

There's a great brewery/bar in Bel Air pretty nearby. The name of the place is DuClaw.

I really like the MisFit Red that they have there.

ETA: There's a Chuck E Cheese across the road in case you change your mind

How funny--I have been to DuClaw in Bel Air! It was a nice place, and my coworkers liked the wine.

Out dated decor? It's been remodeled (or in the process of being remodeled). The outside looks like it's done, and the signs look new as of Saturday.-
