I've used it several times and had no response. It needs more exposure/publicity. Very nice venue for selling. I'll continue posting on there, it will grow.
Thanks OP

eBay also owns a good portion of Craigslist.

No flaggers there, which many people like.
Low turnover, too.

Useless. only Newark and Atlantic City listed for NJ

Not too many ads in the Baltimore section, and many of the ones that are there are either commercial or asking way too much (including one woman who wants $400 for her OS9 flavor-of-the-month CRT iMac).

It has nothing on Craigslist in personals either - there is exactly one woman seeking man ad for Baltimore (who is looking for a guy who isn't "meen" and doesn't "do durgs". I'm also slightly creeped out by the pets for sale ads.

From what it looks like, CL is area based (north NJ, bay area, etc) while kijiji is specific city based.

Yes, it is owned by eBay. Yes, eBay owns 49% of craigslist. It might be good over time but for now I'll pass. They do need to advertise it. Something that craigslist has never even spent $1 on. Crazy how big they are.

craigslist is a much simpler name...this sounds like a radio station almost.

some cities have lots of listings and some very few.
just thought i'd share the link for anyone who might have something to buy/sell/give with a free ad and another option to CL.
