BlueNile is awesome! I bought my ring from them and have nothing but good things to say.

I had a bad experience with Diamond.com. It was a few years ago so they may have fired all the lousy cs reps, replaced the shoddy merchandise, and turned their business around since then. But I doubt it.

If you have a Discover credit card, BlueNile is one of their preferred merchant (click the ShopDiscover tab in your online account page and go to "Jewelery"). If you link to BlueNile from there (and don't use a discount coupon or code), you can get 5% CashBack on your purchase. I found this link from CouponMountain web site, it says that if you pay with paypal you can get up to 20% refund. I called paypal and confirmed the deal with them. They said they had that promation going back in May and they may have it again, but doesn't know when.
I am looking for a ring myself, I have found Blue Nile has better quality diamonds amoung major online store.

Yes, the 20% typically does have a limit (I believe it's for purchases up to $500-1000) and does not apply to "Create Your Own" engagement rings. I did ALOT of searching before I bought mine back in April from them.

Don't you want to see the ring in person before you buy it???

All coupon codes only apply to the ring, not the diamond right?

I email couponmountain so they removed the link. But I believe it said the jewelry can go up to $12,500. But I am not sure if it applies to the dimaond. But when I can called paypal, the lady I spoke to thinks it applies to everything. Too bad she is not sure if there will be another coupon like that anytime soon. I guess I will try the 10% for Visa...
