I'm not fishing them out of the garbage now.

If the eclair is sitting on a doile on top of the garbage, then it's okay to eat.

Ok George

What???????????????

If it's around 40ᵒ in your kitchen then it might be ☺K.

Be ready, go hungry. The last thing you want to do is reheat a quality cut of steak. Unlike pizza, steak is definitely best the first time it's cooked. Get everything else you would normally get with your meal (bread, salad, etc) but resist the temptation to fill up on the peripherals; eat your steak in the restaurant and have them bag everything else for you to take home.

Good advice, Kid. I ate the "peripherals" yesterday, iceberg wedge salad, bread, and appetizer (some kind of Asian meat chunks), and when the steak came, I didn't do it justice.

Why is it ok to eat pizza that's been left out on the counter overnight but not other things like this? Pizza frequently has beef on it & college students through the ages have been eating it off the kitchen counter the mornings after parties.

Apppoaching the 36 hour mark. Under my own "restaurant quality prime beef left on kitchen counter for up to 36 hours" rule you still have time to dine.

I would probably scrape off the goo first.

I wouldnt eat it.

But took mom to a great steak house in chi-town.

Skipped all appetizars, just ate the salad, enjoyed a great 20oz+ steak, yum.

now I have to pay the bill, yuck

That would be me with the roast. It was delicious and we are all still alive. But mine was left out raw and cooked thoroughly and there were no sauces involved.

The sauce would worry me.

2. Pizza is special.

Bottom line, I figure it would have been fine to eat it--but why take chances??

I have had food poisoning twice in my life, and it's not pretty!!!!!!!!!
