Just bought some regular 100 watt lightbulbs but they are 95 watts. Really. Also people spend money on fancy words they don't know. Like with Gatorade & it's electrolytes, that is just salt. |

lol. We are a nation that pays for bags of air, tap water masquerading as 'Spring' , pi$$water masquerading as coffee at Dunkin Donuts, $1 for a 25 cent donut at the same scam outfit, $3.99 for a 10oz Sugary Cereal, tiny portions of frozen food at 5X the real value, and the list goes on. Those same people think nothing of abandoning homes to banks, stiffing credit card companies and creditors, going on welfare when they fail to save two cents when they had income. Truly a sad state. As for those mocking the original post, which of the above are you? |

Seriously though, salts help you retain water and are a beneficial fortification in a sports drink. Of course beneficial assumes that you are sweating & can't constantly rehydrate. I submit to the probability that the driving force behind consumption of sports drinks is the illusion of a healthier alternative to soda or the reality of an expensive alternative to Kool-Aid though |

I stayed in a hotel last night. The room was mostly air. What a ripoff! And the vehicle I'm driving? There's more volume of air inside it than anything else! Same thing for the basketball I bought last month. Maybe I should get rid of my desktop computers, they're mostly air inside, too. OP is right!FrugalFreak said:...They are better than all that carbonation though. Are you saying the USA is a carbo nation? |

No one suggested NO air. The bags are notoriously three times bigger than what they need to be to fool the average FW buyer. what , 5 oz of chips (about 5 cents worth of potatoes) in a bag big enough to hold over a pound PROTECTED. All that for $3.99 FW suckers |
