...and it's a little creepy. I just set up an account on a whim one day from the Fox News site, I'm not "active" at all. One of the people following is an old girlfriend and I know who she is, but how the hell did she know it was me though? There are about five other "followers" who I have absolutely no idea who they are!
ETA: Holy crap, my newest "follower" is pretty hot!
I twitter-squatted my username so nobody else would take it, but I don't use it. I got a few emails that people were following me - mostly people I recognized as occasional blog commenters - but I think they all dropped off after they realized I never use it.
I stick with blogging and facebook. Sadly, I don't think any hot chicks want to stalk me.

I've clicked on links provided by two different followers of my unused Twitter acct and they led to sites that tried to download a trojan to my computer.
