I happen to know the schedule over a 4 day period of a celebrity. I would like to make some easy cash of of it, by letting some paparazzi know some details of the schedule, and how to get exclusive close up access to this a-list star during that time.
Now please dont post telling me how unethical this is. This star sells photo opportunities of herself, whenever she can. Also she will be in public, not private areas, so I dont see any laws that would be broken.
Who should I approach, and how much do you think I can ask for, for this kind of information? Maybe its worth nothing, but I would think it is.

Edited to add: Wouldnt you sell this info? If it didnt harm your job, and the celebrity was one that sold herself out all the time.

Would for sure feel it was wrong if it was someone who tried to protect their privacy. She does not. I only said that because people would want to thread crap about that, and I am only looking for advice on how to profit, not about whether its right or wrong.

Just because "she" chooses to be open with her personal life doesnt mean you are entitled to be equally open with her personal life as well.

people can disagree, but when in the world of hypotheticals and general advice --- I believe the ethical component can't be ignored

That is true for some people. Im sure there are also others out there that would be happy to help someone profit....
Anyways its a matter of opinion of whether its ethical or not. I dont see anything unethical about it when the subject does not care about their privacy.

These forums should be GIVE & take. This mindset is not surprising though since many nowadays citizens are self-serving combined with sliding moral decay.
Quite honestly, this is how the whole paparazzi thing works. People who are close to the star, usually employees, hotel desk clerks, limo drivers, etc call the various gossip rags/sites and offer to sell this sort of info. Depending upon how rare your info is, how easy it is to get a shot of this celebrity, and if there is a special perk involved such as a new significant other, new baby, they got fat/skinny, etc then the price goes up. Exclusivity of the info can also increase the value of the info. You need to spill the beans fast though, as someone else may beat you to the punch. Don't waste a scoop by pondering the moral issues if you are interested in cashing in on your info. The window of time where your info is actually worth something is VERY small.

Here's somethine I know for fact. Some A-list stars "leak" their own out-in-public info in just this way to get the publicity and attract the media. This is how I know one A-lister broke the news of a new relationship. How did it happen that YOU found out the info. Maybe you're doing exactly what they want you to do.
