in the last few months there have been a number of gun posts creeping up and they get tons of green and lots of buzz around them. i've got nothing against the second ammendment, i'm just wondering if every fw'r is a gun-slinging tobacco-chewing cowboy or is it just lots of teen guys with raging Testosterone!

It denigrates gun ownership. You say you have nothing against the second amendment and you next immediate comment is a rip on everyone who exerts this fundamental right. Believe me when I tell you that not every gun owner is a tobacco-chewing cowboy or a teen with raging Testosterone. You sound like you are afraid of guns. Perhaps you should take a gun safety course and convert your fear into a skill.

You missunderstand me, I have no fears or issues with guns, have friends that own them and consider/ed owning one as well, I just think the people have gone gaga in hot deals sometimes about them.

The purpose of a gun is immaterial: If it can be gotten far cheaper than normally, then it's a hot deal. See, if A is the normal price, and B is the current price then if (A>B) then Hot deal.

Same thing that makes a new ,usually out of stock video card a hot deal for retail price, even though some people have zero interest in video cards.
